Mobile Engineer (iOS/Android)

About the role

The role involves designing and building highly responsive native mobile applications that serve as the primary interface for millions of active users. You will work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and analytics teams to deliver seamless experiences across iOS and Android platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance native mobile applications using Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android.
• Architect clean, modular, and testable codebases employing MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture patterns.
• Optimize app performance, including memory usage, battery consumption, network traffic, and rendering latency.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, implementing efficient data synchronization and offline storage.
• Write comprehensive automated test suites (unit, integration, UI) using XCTest, Espresso, or Compose UI Test.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline automation for builds, testing, and App Store/Google Play deployments.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on native iOS or Android development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android).
• Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, Android SDK, and platform lifecycle events.
• Experience with concurrency, asynchronous programming, memory management, and local persistence (CoreData, Room, SQLite).
• Ability to implement complex UI designs, custom transitions, and accessible components using UIKit/SwiftUI or View/Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with modern architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Competence in automated testing frameworks (XCTest, Espresso, Compose UI Test).
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Fastlane or Bitrise (bonus).
