Mobile Application Developer (iOS/Android/Cross‑Platform)

About the role

TechPerm Incorporated is looking for a senior Mobile Application Developer to design, build and maintain native iOS and Android apps as well as cross‑platform solutions. The role involves working with enterprise teams to integrate modern mobile experiences with legacy COBOL and Java back‑ends while adhering to security and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Build native Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Create cross‑platform mobile apps using React Native and Flutter.
• Integrate mobile front‑ends with legacy systems via REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design API gateways and modernize legacy service access.
• Implement UI/UX designs ensuring responsive, consistent experiences across devices.
• Optimize performance using Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler and memory‑management best practices.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests (XCTest, Jest, Flutter Test).
• Configure CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Bitrise.
• Ensure secure communication, OAuth integration, encryption and compliance with GDPR and HIPAA.

Required profile

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s with 12+ years, or 18+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience integrating mobile apps with legacy enterprise systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional, enterprise‑level teams.
