ML Perception Software Engineer

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a software engineer specialized in perception for autonomous vehicles or mobile robots. The role focuses on building 4D world representations and developing computer‑vision and machine‑learning techniques that enable self‑driving systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve perception modules within the autonomous‑vehicle stack.
• Train, modify, and create beyond‑state‑of‑the‑art algorithms for world modeling and ML‑driven autonomy.
• Test and evaluate algorithms on real vehicles, owning large portions of the autonomy stack.
• Collaborate closely with data, behavior, and research teams to deliver production‑ready software.
• Ensure that perception improvements translate into measurable driving‑ability gains.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building software components that address real‑world perception challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with perception systems for autonomous vehicles or mobile robots.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
