Mitigation Technician

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. The role involves hands‑on cleaning and restoring properties affected by water, fire, or mold damage, using both hand and power tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assess properties impacted by water, fire, or mold damage.
• Perform water damage restoration to return properties to their original condition.
• Execute fire restoration tasks, including soot and smoke cleaning.
• Carry out mold remediation to ensure safe living environments.
• Use hand and power tools for various cleaning and restoration activities.
• Provide carpet cleaning as part of the restoration process.
• Follow safety protocols during asbestos abatement projects when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in water damage, fire restoration, or mold remediation (preferred).
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in the restoration industry.
• Previous carpet cleaning experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety practices for asbestos abatement is desirable.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
