Millwork Design & Production Manager

About the role

Our client is a luxury residential millwork division that combines sophisticated design with hands‑on production, including CNC fabrication, fine woodworking, metalwork and specialty concrete. They are looking for a versatile professional who can bridge design intent and shop‑floor execution while leading a skilled fabrication team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the drafting process for custom luxury millwork projects, creating accurate shop drawings and digital models that align with architectural and engineering specifications.
• Operate and manage advanced CNC machinery (3‑axis milling, laser cutting) and provide hands‑on expertise in fine woodworking, metalwork, and specialty concrete fabrication.
• Coordinate fabrication workflows, manage project schedules, material procurement and resource allocation to meet quality and timeline standards.
• Mentor and develop the fabrication team, ensuring high‑end craftsmanship and supporting the division’s growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury residential millwork or high‑end custom fabrication, with a strong background in both design and production.
• Hands‑on CNC operation experience and ability to maintain equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of managing a team and maintaining luxury‑grade standards.
• Excellent communication skills for client‑facing interactions and project coordination.

Required skills

• CAD/CAM: Rhino, Grasshopper, RhinoCam, Revit, Polycam.
• Design/Graphics: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Office: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Operating CNC machinery and knowledge of multi‑material fabrication (fine woods, metals, specialty concrete).
