Mill Machinist II – 2nd Shift (Onsite, Buffalo, NY)

About the role

Moog is seeking a skilled Mill Machinist II to join its Commercial Aircraft Group on the 2nd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will work on high‑precision components for flight‑control systems, contributing directly to the reliability of commercial and business aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of milling operations on various materials using vertical and tracer‑type mills.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate vertical milling machines according to specified procedures.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to produce exact parts.
• Develop and refine machining methods when required.
• Maintain strict adherence to FAA safety‑sensitive work regulations and the company’s drug and alcohol program.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED (preferred) with demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• At least 3 years of precision machining experience in a machine‑shop environment.
• Eligibility to enroll in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.
• Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations.
