Mid‑Senior Java Software Engineer (TS/SCI)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain cutting‑edge software for satellite ground systems. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and offers the chance to work in an Agile, DevSecOps‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems.
• Implement and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile setting.
• Apply DevSecOps and CI/CD techniques to ensure robust, reliable systems.
• Work with multi‑tiered architectures, AWS services, and microservice design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software challenges in new and existing systems.

Required profile

• Minimum eight (8) years of software engineering experience.
• Active, transferable U.S. TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented Java development and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Agile development, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab), and AWS microservices.
• Hands‑on test automation and CI/CD pipeline experience.
