Middle School Math Teacher

About the role

Leona Group Schools is seeking a dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to plan, organize and deliver an engaging mathematics curriculum for middle‑grade students. The role focuses on fostering academic growth, encouraging active learning, and supporting students’ overall development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and clear learning objectives.
• Provide and manage a variety of learning materials and resources.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction and assess student performance.
• Assign, grade and give feedback on classwork, homework, tests and assignments.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare required reports.
• Manage classroom behavior, enforce rules and apply disciplinary measures as needed.
• Support students with academic challenges through counseling and encouragement.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, department meetings, parent meetings and school events.
