Mid Market Account Manager

About the role

As a Mid Market Account Manager at Spectrum, you will drive growth by upselling, renewing, and retaining voice, data, cloud, and video services for existing Mid‑market and Enterprise customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, building long‑term partnerships that increase revenue and reinforce Spectrum’s reputation for reliable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Upsell voice, data, cloud, and video services and secure contract renewals within assigned segments.
• Win back former customers by presenting compelling solutions and incentives.
• Achieve monthly revenue quotas through strategic account management and targeted sales activities.
• Initiate contact with prospects via phone outreach, cold calls, networking events, and industry conferences.
• Develop customer‑centric proposals that clearly articulate Spectrum’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Consultants for seamless handoff and ongoing client management.
• Maintain comprehensive sales databases to track activity and customer information.
• Work closely with Sales Support and Marketing teams to drive successful account outcomes.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to deepen product knowledge.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, computer networking, Internet solutions, and fiber‑connected networks.
• Account management or sales experience in the B2B telecommunications industry.

Required skills

• Practical experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
