About the role
LinkedIn is seeking a Mid-Market Account Director for its Talent Solutions portfolio. In this hybrid role you will act as a trusted adviser to mid-market customers, helping them adopt LinkedIn’s Talent and Learning solutions to drive business outcomes. You will combine strategic selling with a deep focus on customer success and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Research customers’ businesses and prepare insightful questions ahead of meetings.
- Ask layered, open-ended questions to uncover objectives and challenges beyond surface level.
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the customer organization, both vertically and horizontally.
- Adapt communication style and content to suit different audiences.
- Lead with solutions rather than products, aligning recommendations with customer goals.
- Sell with integrity and act as the customer’s internal advocate.
- Use data and insights to support investment recommendations and overcome objections.
- Mitigate churn risk through a customer-centric approach and continuous value confirmation.
- Identify growth opportunities and drive expanded adoption of Talent Solutions.
- Map key stakeholders, assess relationship strength, and develop outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure joint accountability for outcomes.
Required profile
- Proven experience engaging mid-market accounts and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to craft and negotiate agreements.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable using insights to shape recommendations.
- Customer-focused attitude, committed to delivering measurable ROI.
- Excellent communication skills, able to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams to achieve shared goals.
