Mid-Level Power Uprate Engineer

About the role

ENERCON is seeking a Mid-Level Power Uprate Engineer to support the evaluation and implementation of power uprates at nuclear facilities across the United States. You will work alongside senior engineers, gaining exposure to plant‑wide upgrades such as pump motors, generators, turbines and feedwater heaters while contributing to safe, efficient increases in reactor output.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses and design modifications required for power uprates.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high‑quality technical solutions.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, safety analyses, and regulatory documentation.
• Assist in the coordination of plant system upgrades and integration testing.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge‑transfer activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related discipline.
• Solid foundation in nuclear plant systems and a desire to become a subject‑matter expert in power uprates.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site at one of several U.S. locations.
