Mid-Level Architect/Designer – Residential & Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Architect to join our Midtown Manhattan studio. You will contribute to high‑end residential and hospitality projects across New York City, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and the internal design team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling presentation drawings and detailed construction documents.
• Conduct site visits, field reviews, and participate in construction administration meetings.
• Coordinate contractor schedules, review shop drawings, and manage sample submissions.
• Facilitate communication among clients, contractors, and vendors, keeping projects on schedule and within scope.
• Document meeting minutes and ensure accurate coordination across all parties.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional architectural experience in New York City.
• Background in hospitality or high‑end residential design.
• Professional degree in Architecture (Master’s a plus).
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, small‑office environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD.
• Advanced skills in Revit.
• Solid understanding of architectural building systems, materials, and NYC building codes.
