Microbulk Driver (CDL Required)

About the role

Join Linde Gas & Equipment as a Microbulk Driver, delivering industrial gas cylinders to customers throughout the Baton Rouge area. You will ensure safe, on‑time deliveries while providing high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company trucks (approximately 30% of the day) to deliver and pick up gas cylinders.
• Unload products, move them to the customer’s use point, and reload empty cylinders.
• Complete hazardous‑material shipping paperwork in compliance with DOT/TC regulations.
• Placard vehicles according to hazardous‑material standards and Linde policies.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Identify and coordinate necessary vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Operate various handling equipment and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Interact regularly with internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience or completion of a truck‑driver training program.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol‑related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Current medical examiner’s certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to read and write English.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Age 21 years or older.
