Microbiologist – AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced microbiologist to help train and evaluate AI chatbots that answer complex biology questions. Working remotely, you will measure model progress, assess logical consistency, and contribute to improving model quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AI chatbots with challenging biology queries covering cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, and experimental methods.
• Evaluate chatbot responses for correctness, relevance, and performance.
• Track model improvements over time and identify areas for refinement.
• Collaborate with the AI development team to troubleshoot issues and enhance model outputs.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (native or bilingual level).
• Detail‑oriented with a strong grasp of cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, and laboratory techniques.
• Current, in‑progress, or completed Master’s or PhD in a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
