Microbiologist - AI Trainer

About the role
We are seeking an experienced microbiologist to help train and evaluate AI chatbots that answer complex biology questions. You will work remotely, measuring model progress, assessing logical consistency, and improving overall performance.
Key responsibilities
- Provide AI chatbots with challenging biology queries covering cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, and experimental methods.
- Analyze and rate the quality of AI-generated answers for accuracy, relevance, and logical soundness.
- Document performance metrics and suggest refinements to improve model outputs.
Required profile
- Fluent in English (native or bilingual level) and detail‑oriented.
- Strong knowledge of cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, and laboratory techniques.
- Current, in‑progress, or completed Master’s or PhD in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be based in the United States and able to work as an independent contractor.
