Metrology Lab Technician

About the role

Crestron Electronics is seeking a Metrology Lab Technician to support its quality assurance and engineering teams. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and calibration of measurement instruments used throughout the lab and production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct precision measurements using CMM, optical comparators, micrometers and other advanced tools.
• Maintain detailed calibration and inspection records.
• Analyze measurement data, support root‑cause investigations and recommend improvements.
• Interpret GD&T, gauging and statistical requirements from blueprints and specifications.
• Collaborate with Metrology Engineering, Manufacturing and SQE teams to meet quality standards.
• Manage multiple priorities and assist with additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in metrology or quality control preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or mechanical components.
• Familiarity with ASQ, ISO or other metrology‑related standards.
