About the role

PwC’s Federal M&A tax team is seeking a Senior Associate to provide tax advisory services on mergers, acquisitions and other complex business transactions. You will analyse tax implications, develop tax structures and help clients optimise their tax outcomes while leveraging digitisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

  • Offer tax advisory services using digital tools and automation.
  • Improve efficiency in fast‑moving, complex transactions.
  • Address and solve sophisticated tax challenges.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior staff.
  • Build and maintain meaningful client relationships.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the business landscape and context.
  • Navigate and manage complex scenarios effectively.

  • Strong client‑facing skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Proactive in anticipating team and client needs.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and asking insightful questions.
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality work and upholding professional standards.
