Merchandiser / Stocker - Hub Store

About the role

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a merchandiser/stocker for its Hub store in Bradenton, Florida. The role keeps the front floor stocked, full and clean, handles sales preparation and customer greeting, and may also act as stock puller for the installer area in large installer-volume stores.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor, help them find merchandise and direct them to a parts specialist when hard parts are needed.
• Check in, price and put up stock, keeping the display floor full and clean every day.
• Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms, and make all out-front price changes.
• Ensure sale signs, the sales flyer rack and sale merchandise are in place, and remove sale material when the sale ends.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts and overstock returns.
• Work with the manager on the store To Do List and weekly team tasks, and act as the main front-floor security measure against shoplifting.
• Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker duties, clock in and out per company policy, and act as communication link between ISS, delivery specialists and the store manager.
• Pull and stage installer deliveries, coordinate quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance, and handle back-room and installer counter housekeeping.
• As Hub Store Order Puller: receive orders from area stores, pull parts from pick tickets, sort them by store location into delivery tubs, inspect damaged boxes and keep a clean, safe work area.

Required profile

• Good aptitude for number sequences and good organizational skills.
• Previous stocking experience and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle are desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages is desired; Spanish is highly desired.
