Merchandiser (Full-time)

About the role

The Merchandiser will represent Breakthru Beverage’s portfolio across retail locations in the Newport News and Hampton areas. Working Tuesday‑Saturday, you will be responsible for creating eye‑catching displays, maintaining stock levels and ensuring product placement aligns with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Stock and rotate shelves in existing and new accounts.
• Build and maintain promotional displays and point‑of‑sale materials.
• Execute store resets for remodels, grand openings or seasonal changes.
• Manage inventory, report out‑of‑stock items and identify opportunities to increase shelf and cold‑box facings.
• Develop strong relationships with key accounts and relay feedback to the sales team.
• Maintain accurate records of merchandising activities and comply with responsible alcohol handling policies.

Required profile

• At least 21 years old; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and lift 45‑65 lb.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and communication.
• Familiarity with POS material handling and merchandising tools.
