Merchandiser – Chicago Area

About the role

The Merchandiser will stock shelves, rotate inventory, and build product displays for assigned accounts in the Chicago area. This full‑time position supports sales consultants and drives volume and profit growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate call schedules and follow retailer‑specific merchandising processes.
• Place point‑of‑sale materials, build and install displays, and coordinate timing with customers and sales teams.
• Stock shelves and backroom inventory to maximize sell‑through and assist with product resets.
• Develop relationships with key account contacts, gather feedback, and communicate opportunities and issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience; no prior experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work independently or in a team, and meet deadlines.
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office and presentation software.

• Hourly rate $20.00 for the first 12 months, then $26.63 after 12 months.
