Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, is recruiting independent, licensed clinical therapists to join its provider network. The work is provided as a 1099 contractor position, offering evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples and/or families, with administrative and marketing support handled by Lyra.

The opportunity suits clinicians comfortable with a wide range of mental health needs, from mild to complex and severe, who want well-matched clients, quick invoicing and payments, and the option to deliver care in person through their own private or group practice. Locations sought: Flint, Kalamazoo, Muskegon, Saginaw and West Branch.

Required profile

• Master's or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g. MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD)
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license, able to work independently without supervision, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Experience providing evidence-based treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT and DBT, and clinical best practices such as measurement-based care
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples and/or families, with a strong preference for in-person care
• Own office space in the Michigan area where clients can be seen
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises as needed
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
