Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, a provider of evidence-based mental health care, is looking for an independently licensed clinical therapist to join its provider network. The opportunity suits clinicians who want to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples and/or families, with administrative and marketing support and easy invoicing. Working with clients in person through a private or group practice is strongly preferred.

Required profile

• Master's or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD)
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license, able to work independently without supervision, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Experience providing evidence-based treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT and DBT, and clinical best practices such as measurement-based care
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples and/or families, with a strong preference for in-person care
• Own office space in the Connecticut area where clients can be seen
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises as needed
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
