Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates partners with Lyra Health, a provider of evidence-based mental health care, to recruit independent, licensed clinical therapists as 1099 contractors. The provider network includes in-person and virtual therapists, physicians and coaches across the US, matched by an advanced matching technology and supported by a provider platform, training and clinical consultation.

The opportunity suits clinicians who want to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples and/or families, with well-matched clients, administrative and marketing support, and easy invoicing with quick payments. Working with clients in person through a private or group practice is strongly preferred.

Required profile

• Master's or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g. MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD)
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license, able to work independently without supervision, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Experience and commitment to evidence-based treatments (e.g. ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and clinical best practices such as measurement-based care and skills practice
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples and/or families, with a strong preference for in-person care
• Own office space in the California area where clients can be seen
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises as needed
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
