Member Team Lead

About the role

The Member Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the membership area, ensuring exceptional service for current and prospective members while driving sales and compliance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach associates, assign duties, and provide performance feedback.
• Handle member inquiries, complaints, and issue resolutions in line with company policies.
• Promote membership programs, process upgrades, renewals, and credit accounts.
• Support sales and marketing events, maintain documentation, and strive to meet membership targets.
• Oversee merchandising, shrink control, cart and equipment management, and maintain a clean parking area.
• Manage cash handling duties, including register operation, daily deposits, cash fund transfers, and financial record keeping.
• Develop and implement process improvements in collaboration with managers and cross‑functional partners.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, company policies, and the Open Door Policy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a retail or membership environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to train, motivate, and evaluate team members.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
• Comfortable handling cash, performing basic accounting tasks, and interpreting financial reports.
