Member Engagement Manager

About the role

The Member Engagement Manager will lead initiatives to strengthen connections between the University of Arkansas community and its members, including students, staff, and partners. This role focuses on designing and delivering programs that enhance member experience, foster collaboration, and support the university’s mission of research and education.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement engagement strategies that align with university goals.
• Coordinate events, workshops, and outreach activities for members.
• Manage communication channels and create content to keep members informed.
• Track engagement metrics, analyze feedback, and report on program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with academic departments, student services, and external partners to expand member opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of member interactions using university systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., communications, education, business).
• Proven experience in member or community engagement, preferably in an academic setting.
• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
