Melt Superintendent – Foundry Operations Lead

About the role

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation seeks a Melt Superintendent to lead the Foundry Melt Department in a high‑volume production environment. The role focuses on achieving quality, safety, and production targets while supporting plant leadership objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct a team of Melt Supervisors to meet company quality, safety and production goals.
• Lead quality and safety audits to maintain and improve ISO‑9001:2015 procedures in the Melt Department.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to maximize the productive use of reports, analysis, data and technical assistance.
• Coordinate with EHS, Engineering, Production Control and Maintenance to ensure compliance and maximize productivity.

Required profile

• High School Diploma required; BS in Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years experience as a Melt Supervisor or Superintendent, preferably in a unionized, high‑volume foundry.
• Experience working in an ISO‑9001:2015 environment.
• Strong work ethic, outgoing and assertive personality with excellent team‑building skills.
