Medication Technician – Senior Care Facility

About the role

Join the dedicated team at Lakewood Park Manor and Norwalk Retirement Villa as a Medication Technician. You will play a vital part in delivering compassionate, high‑quality care to senior residents, supporting their physical and mental well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in accordance with community standards.
• Maintain accurate care and medication records.
• Follow physicians' orders, state laws, and facility medication policies.
• Assist or supervise residents with medication administration as required.
• Adhere to safety and infection‑control procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in a similar assisted‑living or senior‑care setting.
• Valid First Aid certification; CPR and Certified Nursing Assistant certification may be required by state regulations.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Physical ability to stand, walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Valid First Aid certification.
• CPR certification (if required by state).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (if required).
