Medical Writer – Scientific Content Development

About the role

Precision AQ is seeking a Medical Writer to create scientifically accurate, evidence‑based content for a range of medical communications deliverables. Working under senior guidance, you will translate complex clinical data into clear slide decks, manuscripts, training materials and other formats that meet client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and revise scientific content such as slide decks, manuscripts and training materials, applying AMA style and client‑specific guidelines.
• Interpret clinical and pre‑clinical data and convert findings into written text and visual representations.
• Conduct literature searches, organize references and manage citation tools.
• Participate in internal and client meetings, capture notes, incorporate feedback and track project tasks using tools like Workfront, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

Required profile

• Doctoral‑level degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent).
• Strong interest in medical writing, excellent written and verbal communication, and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet billable utilization targets and adhere to SOPs.
