About the role

Join ScribeAmerica as a Medical Scribe and work side‑by‑side with physicians to capture accurate patient documentation in real time. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on clinical exposure and a pathway into the healthcare field.

Key responsibilities

• Document patient visits alongside doctors, recording history, exams, treatments, and prescriptions.
• Enter information into electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately and promptly.
• Review and track lab and test results, ensuring they are reflected in the patient chart.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safeguard patient information.
• Update and organize patient charts, preparing documents for physician review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking, follow‑ups, and overall clinic workflow.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
