Medical Science Liaison – West Region

About the role
Syndax Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for its West region to serve as the primary scientific communicator for its oncology pipeline. The MSL will build and maintain relationships with hematology/oncology Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across a multi‑state territory and support the execution of the national medical affairs plan.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and nurture scientific relationships with KOLs, disease experts, and health‑care providers in academic and community settings.
- Conduct peer‑to‑peer exchanges of complex clinical and scientific data, delivering presentations on disease state, mechanisms of action, and clinical trial results.
- Identify, evaluate, and profile KOLs and key institutions aligned with Syndax’s medical strategy.
- Create and maintain a strategic territory plan to advance KOL engagement.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate actionable field insights, including competitive intelligence and patient management trends.
- Support evidence‑generation activities, assist with clinical trial site identification, and facilitate investigator‑sponsored trials.
- Represent Syndax at medical congresses and advisory board meetings, collecting insights and supporting scientific exchange.
