Medical Science Liaison, Immunology – GI (Upstate NY)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Gastroenterology will serve the Upstate New York territory, including New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. The role focuses on scientific exchange, relationship building with key opinion leaders, and supporting investigator‑initiated studies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
• Cultivate strong professional relationships with community and academic KOLs to advance scientific credibility.
• Provide fair‑balanced, non‑promotional scientific information and education to healthcare professionals.
• Collect, synthesize, and apply clinical, scientific, and competitive insights to guide territory activities.
• Support investigator‑initiated studies and respond to unsolicited inquiries about J&J products.

Required profile

• Doctorate level degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) with post‑graduate experience.
• Up to 70% travel within the territory and to internal meetings or congresses.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Preferred 2+ years of relevant MSL or therapeutic area experience.
