Medical Administration Specialist

About the role

The Medical Administration Specialist provides essential medical administration and operational readiness support to the Naval Special Warfare Group Eight Fleet Integration Team. Working on‑site in Virginia Beach, the specialist ensures accurate medical documentation, scheduling, and readiness tracking for dive medicine programs and military healthcare delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate military healthcare delivery systems and operational support tasks.
• Assist with inspections, assessments, and readiness reviews for the medical department.
• Provide clerical support, maintain correspondence, reports, and internal tracking systems.
• Support routine clinical, occupational, preventive, and emergency medical service administration.
• Handle administrative activities for vaccinations, audiograms, lab tests, visual screenings, ECGs, health assessments, physical exams, and medical surveillance.
• Maintain medical department logs, readiness reports, and databases such as the Medical Readiness Reporting System.
• Schedule patient appointments, manage military health records, and process electronic deployment health assessments.
• Serve as liaison for referrals, appointments, and medical claims support.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license and passport.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience supporting military or healthcare administration.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site with minimal travel.
