Media Relations Specialist

About the role

Bath & Body Works is looking for a Media Relations Specialist to act as the primary brand contact for consumer media. The role will develop and nurture media relationships, create compelling PR content, and support product launches and brand initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Write and distribute public‑relations materials such as fact sheets, press releases and pitches.
• Manage inbound media inquiries and outgoing pitches through the PR inbox.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end product sampling, mailer and media‑seeding process, from concept to execution.
• Conceptualise fresh, news‑worthy PR ideas and storytelling to amplify product launches.
• Coordinate with external vendors, production partners and agencies to deliver high‑quality mailers and sampling programs.
• Support media coverage audits and share updates with cross‑functional partners.
• Assist in planning and executing press events, representing the PR team on‑site.
• Collaborate closely with Social, Influencer, Marketing, Merchandising and International teams to ensure integrated communications.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of PR experience, preferably in beauty, consumer goods, fashion or retail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong creative instincts and passion for storytelling and earned media.
• Proven project‑management skills handling multiple launches and competing priorities.
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
