Mechanical Engineer – Luxury Audio Products

About the role

Bose’s Luxury Division, in partnership with McIntosh Laboratories, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver premium audio products that uphold the McIntosh legacy of craftsmanship, performance, and iconic industrial design.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for high‑end consumer audio products from concept through production.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with industrial design, electrical engineering, acoustics, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams to ensure design intent, quality, and manufacturability.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize production processes.
• Provide ongoing production support and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
