Mechanical Engineer IV – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will leverage a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to resolve complex mechanical problems, design and implement custom tooling, and enable handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts throughout the product life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
• Develop, design, or modify engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications of complex scope.
• Communicate with internal and external customers on mechanical issues for specific projects.
• Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and associated processes to enable handling, assembly and disassembly of parts and assemblies.
• Generate product specifications and perform engineering analysis, producing test reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 7‑10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Subject‑matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet‑metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis and Design for Excellence principles.

• Salary range $147,000 – $202,500 per year.
