Mechanical Engineer III – Advanced Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer III you will apply physics, mathematics and materials science to solve complex mechanical problems in semiconductor equipment. The role focuses on the design, analysis and testing of advanced electrostatic chucks for plasma etch applications, providing hands‑on experience with thermal, mechanical, electrical and materials challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Design, develop and modify 3D mechanical models, engineering drawings and custom tooling for handling, assembly and disassembly of components.
• Define, coordinate and document engineering tests, analyze results and generate technical reports.
• Lead or execute projects, develop key suppliers, and create product specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency with CAD software, thermodynamics, material selection, GD&T and design for excellence principles.
