Mechanical Engineer II – Controls

About the role

Mechanical Engineer II – Controls will develop products through design, analysis, prototyping, testing and documentation, ensuring they meet customer specifications for performance, appearance, cost and quality. The role also provides production support and coordinates activities across engineering, internal departments, vendors and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish design concepts, develop performance specifications and provide cost estimates for quotations.
• Perform calculations for performance modeling, stress analysis, tolerance studies and use CAE and CAD tools for layout and detailed design.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs, ECNs and related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and customers to meet project schedules and milestones.
• Support production and quality control in solving design and process issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of engineering experience, including use of mechanical CAD.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Mechanical CAD proficiency, preferably with CREO.
• Experience with CAE tools for stress and performance analysis.
