Mechanic – Pipeline & Compressor Station Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join Energy Transfer’s pipeline and compressor station team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment that transports gas and liquid products, ensuring safe and reliable operations across our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair compressor and pump station equipment, including prime movers, compressors, valves, filters, separators, dehydrators, and auxiliary systems.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work with employees and contractors, managing outages, ordering materials, and maintaining inventory.
• Interpret and use drawings, schematics, OEM manuals, and technical data to perform maintenance tasks.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, portable and mobile equipment safely in hazardous and non‑hazardous environments.
• Maintain equipment records, logs, and regulatory documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
• Provide training and leadership to work crews, fostering safe and effective operations.

Required profile

• Ability to work safely in classified and non‑classified environments.
• Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize maintenance activities.
• Experience collaborating with contractors and managing resources.
• Commitment to adhering to regulatory and company procedures.

Required skills

• Operation and repair of compressor station equipment.
• Operation and repair of pump station equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Use of precision measurement equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
