About the role

The Department of Mathematics at LSU seeks an enthusiastic Instructor to teach a variety of undergraduate mathematics courses below the 4000 level. This full‑time faculty position focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction and supporting student success.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate mathematics courses, preparing lectures, assignments, and examinations.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain office hours to advise and mentor students.
• Collaborate with department faculty on curriculum development and academic initiatives.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a mathematics‑related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics.
• Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education.
• Preferred: PhD in a mathematics‑related field.
