Materials & Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking a Materials & Supply Chain Manager to lead its Salt Lake City defense operations. Reporting to the Site General Manager, you will oversee a high‑performing supply chain organization that supports missile steering applications and other critical defense programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a supply‑chain structure that aligns with corporate, group, and divisional objectives.
• Drive improvements in on‑time delivery, cost reduction, and product quality.
• Establish, monitor, and refine processes for planning, purchasing, and manufacturing across all product lines.
• Manage forecasts, create purchase orders, execute internal work orders, and maintain production schedules.
• Interface with assembly & test, program management, finance, and corporate supply‑chain teams.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to implement continuous‑process improvements both internally and with suppliers.
• Oversee annual procurements exceeding $100 million and supervise 7 direct and 5 indirect reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale supply‑chain operations in a manufacturing or defense environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on operational excellence and quality standards.
• Willingness to work onsite in Salt Lake City on a 9/80 first‑shift schedule.
