Materials Management Clerk 2

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth is seeking a full‑time Materials Management Clerk 2 to support its supply chain operations in North Miami, FL. The clerk will coordinate the movement of raw materials, parts and finished products while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain order‑related documentation and tracking information.
• Approve critical supply logs and manage storeroom inventory.
• Review product usage, coordinate ordering and secure best pricing.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory and supply issues, ensure timely deliveries, and address shipment holds.
• Check expiration dates, rotate inventory, and assist with unloading and unpacking received items.
• Notify management of overstocking, discrepancies, and other issues.
• Fill tickets and requisitions, deliver supplies to designated locations, and ensure proper charging.
• Print and apply labels, preserve receiving and ordering paperwork, and follow university policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant materials or inventory management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Commitment to university core values and adherence to policies.

Required skills

• Accurate data‑entry capabilities.
• General knowledge of office procedures and inventory operations.
