Materials Control Lead

About the role

CF Industries is seeking a Materials Control Lead to ensure accurate planning, tracking, storage, preservation, and timely turnover of all project materials and equipment from procurement through construction to commissioning. The role also manages the spare parts warehouse and MRO inventory, maintaining appropriate stocking levels and security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, track, store, preserve, and turnover project materials and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the spare parts warehouse and MRO inventory, including stock levels and security.
• Lead and develop the Material Control team supporting the Blue Point project.
• Build and refine procurement and material control processes that integrate with other business functions.
• Identify and implement new best practices for material control to support project objectives.
• Foster collaborative relationships with project stakeholders and contractors.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in material control, inventory management, or related fields.
• Ability to develop and guide a high‑performing material control team.
• Strong understanding of procurement, warehouse operations, and MRO inventory practices.
• Experience working on large‑scale industrial projects, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
