Materials Capacity Program Manager (B4)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with an achievement mentality to fill the role of a Materials Capacity Program Manager (B4) in our DDP Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will have an educational background in engineering, supply chain, or business, and a proven track record in capacity planning, supplier risk management, and supply chain program execution, preferably within the semiconductor industry.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast and communicate capacity, demand, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers; perform capacity‑vs‑demand gap analysis.
• Lead cross‑functional capacity reviews, coordinating with SAMs, SEs, DEAs, and Commodity Business Managers.
• Develop and update supplier capacity strategies, supply heat maps, and supplier playbooks for multi‑quarter forecasts.
• Assist in supplier capacity and delivery negotiations and complete supplier risk assessments.
• Monitor supplier performance against capacity commitments and track metrics such as Capacity vs. Demand %, QBR completion, and Risk Buy Plan impact.
• Execute capacity add and qualification/second‑source projects, including supplier onboarding and qualification support for critical parts.
• Manage materials change control related to capacity actions and publish key process indicators.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to identify long‑lead, critical, and constrained parts and develop capacity roadmaps.
• Partner with quality and engineering teams to resolve supplier capacity or quality issues, escalating as needed.

Required profile

• Educational background in engineering, supply chain, or business.
• Proven experience in capacity planning, supplier risk management, and supply chain program execution, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
