Material Review Board Engineer

About the role

The Material Review Board Engineer will join Infosys' Engineering unit in Wichita, KS, focusing on aerospace structural design and product‑centric value delivery. The role involves translating business and technical requirements into actionable engineering specifications and supporting the development of prototypes and design models.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements, converting them into clear specifications.
• Participate in design meetings, create initial concepts, and develop sketches and models using engineering tools.
• Iterate through engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and incorporate cross‑functional feedback.
• Develop and validate solution specifications through simulations and testing.
• Integrate technical components, resolve interoperability issues, and ensure system functionality.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• BS degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
• Strong collaborative and communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset capable of addressing complex requirements.
• Innovative approach to process improvement and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Aerospace domain knowledge
