Material Handler – Production & Packaging

About the role

The Material Handler is responsible for moving, mixing, and packaging products on a 12‑hour rotating schedule. The role ensures smooth material flow, maintains quality standards, and supports production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Convey and package product, mix additives as required, and hand‑load raw materials.
• Identify final packaging differences and correctly assemble and label sample boxes.
• Monitor printer quality, in‑feed/out‑feed conveyors, and ensure proper box movement.
• Operate wash station controls, AT01 elevator, material hoist, and forklift.
• Maintain additive tank levels, update holding‑tank records, and track inventory transactions.
• Perform machine cleaning, document work logs, and follow safety and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in training, continuous‑improvement initiatives, and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑speed environment and follow standardized processes.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and stand 12‑hour shifts.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and in temperature extremes.
• Pass forklift certification and respirator fit test.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
