Material Handler – Contract Position

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Contract Material Handler to join its Columbus, MS facility. You will be responsible for managing the flow of goods between internal and external customers, ensuring that inventory is accurately received, stored, and dispatched.

Key responsibilities

• Receive vendor purchase orders, verify carton counts against airway bills or bills of lading, and record receipts in SAP.
• Label, bag, and store incoming parts, using handheld scanners to update inventory.
• Stock parts efficiently and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Organize and execute the transfer of products to internal and external customers.
• Ensure that delivered goods are correctly stored and dispatched to the right beneficiaries.

Required profile

• Ability to manage internal material flow and handle goods for both internal and external customers.
• Attention to detail for accurate receiving, labeling, and inventory tracking.
• Willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing and assembly environment.
