Material Control & Inventory Analyst

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Material Control & Inventory Analyst to join its U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama. The analyst will ensure accurate inventory transactions, support production lines for the A320 and A220 programs, and drive continuous improvement of material flows.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor completeness, accuracy, and compliance of inventory transactions.
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory validations, and root‑cause analysis for discrepancies.
• Serve as the main interface between manufacturing engineering, production, planners, logistics coordinators, and supply officers.
• Develop and track process KPIs related to material management and generate regular reports.
• Research inventory issues in SAP, provide clarifications, and escalate blockers to mitigate operational risk.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving inventory and material storage flows.

Required profile

• Experience working with inventory control in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to perform data collection and sophisticated analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple operational functions.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of ensuring compliance with safety and operating procedures.
