Marketing Management Assistant (Student Position)

About the role

This role supports the Marketing and Public Relations Department of South Georgia Technical College by handling a variety of administrative and marketing tasks. It is designed for a current student who wants hands‑on experience in college marketing and event coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, social media content, and website updates.
• Research marketing trends, competitor activities, and outreach opportunities.
• Support planning and execution of recruitment fairs, open houses, and community events.
• Maintain marketing department files, databases, and promotional inventory.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and answering phones.
• Assist with photography and videography for events and campaigns.
• Monitor social media engagement and track website analytics.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as a student at South Georgia Technical College.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
