Marketing and Recruiting Specialist

About the role

The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville seeks a Marketing and Recruiting Specialist to support campus-wide communication initiatives and student recruitment efforts. This fixed‑term position will work closely with academic and administrative units to promote the university’s brand and attract prospective students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns that highlight university programs, events, and achievements.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including outreach to high schools, community colleges, and prospective graduate students.
• Create and manage digital content for social media, website, and email newsletters.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to align messaging with strategic goals.
• Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust tactics to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in higher‑education marketing or recruitment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
