About the role

The Texas A&M University System Offices are seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to support the Research & Innovation portfolio. The role blends strategic storytelling with technical translation, highlighting the system’s research impact and nuclear security initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce marketing and communications materials, including brochures, web copy, presentations, and one‑pagers.
• Translate complex technical and nuclear security topics into clear, audience‑centered content.
• Coordinate projects and support stakeholders across the research and innovation ecosystem.
• Maintain and update web and digital platforms to showcase research outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Vice Chancellor for Nuclear Security Initiatives on communication deliverables.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in marketing and communications, especially within research or higher‑education environments.
• Proven ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Effective project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
